Welcome to La Barbaresque, a holiday rental located in the heart of the medieval village of Nant. Spread over two floors with three separate bedrooms, our holiday apartment offers all the comfort you need to accommodate up to 8 guests (or even 10 thanks to the modular sofa bed in the living room). Ideally located between Millau, the Grands Causses, the Tarn Gorges, and the Larzac Templar and Hospitaller villages, it is the perfect base for discovering the most beautiful landscapes of South Aveyron!

The three separate bedrooms have been thoughtfully designed to provide peace, privacy, and comfort. Spread across different levels of the house, each bedroom features its own private en-suite bathroom, a television, and views of either the Roc Nantais or Saint-Alban, two of the iconic hills surrounding the village of Nant. Every guest can enjoy their own private space while sharing memorable moments together in the welcoming communal areas.
Located beneath the eaves, the third bedroom is a charming family suite that showcases the authentic character of the house, with its beautiful exposed stone walls and inviting mezzanine. Fully renovated and able to accommodate up to 8 people, it is an ideal base from which to explore Millau and its viaduct, the Gorges du Tarn, the Larzac, the Templar towns and the Grands Causses Regional Nature Park.
What is the capacity of the gite?
La Barbaresque can accommodate up to 8 guests in a spacious and comfortable flat. It is the ideal accommodation for families, groups of friends or hikers wishing to stay together in southern Aveyron.
Does the property have a car park?
There are several free car parks just a few metres from the holiday cottage. It is also possible to park in front of the property to unload your luggage, subject to availability.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed.
Is the accommodation accessible to people with reduced mobility?
No. Due to the layout of the building and the presence of stairs, the gite is unfortunately not accessible to people with reduced mobility or those using a wheelchair.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is usually from 5 pm and check-out is before 11 am. However, we are flexible where possible; please do not hesitate to contact us before your stay so that we can find the most suitable arrangement.
Is the gite non-smoking?
Yes. Smoking is not permitted inside the accommodation in order to ensure the comfort of guests and maintain the standard of the premises.

From La Barbaresque, you can easily reach the Millau Viaduct, the Gorges du Tarn, the Cirque de Navacelles, the Roquefort cheese cellars, the Larzac region and Mont Aigoual. The village of Nant is also an excellent starting point for numerous walks.
