Regarded as one of Europe’s leading trail running events, it offers a range of races to suit all levels, from introductory routes to long-distance courses winding through the exceptional landscapes of the Grands Causses.

The Templar's Festival, a leading trail running event
Established in 1995, the Festival is now one of the unmissable events on the French trail running calendar. Every year, several thousand runners take part in the various races organised around Millau, in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The programme includes several iconic races such as: the Grand Trail des Templiers; the Endurance Trail; the Boffi Fifty; the VO2 Trail; the Monna Lisa Trail; as well as several events suitable for beginners or young trail runners.
The routes wind through the spectacular landscapes of the Grands Causses, the cliffs overlooking the Gorges du Tarn, the forest trails and the Larzac plateaus, offering a unique experience combining nature and heritage. Are towels and linen provided?
Yes. All household linen is provided. On arrival, the beds will be made up and you’ll also be provided with bath towels, kitchen tea towels and bed linen. You don’t need to bring anything.
Can I prepare my own meals?
Yes. The gite has a fully equipped kitchen with a hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and all the necessary kitchenware. You’ll be able to easily prepare your meals before or after your event.
What shops are there near the accommodation?
La Barbaresque is situated right in the heart of Nant. Bakeries, grocery shops, restaurants, cafés and other shops are all within a few minutes’ walk.
Can I stay for several nights?
Of course. Many participants choose to stay for two or three nights so that they can arrive feeling relaxed before their race and enjoy a day of recovery afterwards. It’s also a chance to visit Nant, the Dourbie Gorges, the Grands Causses…
